Here's what a few members shared in a recent community call about why they choose ARISE:
In a recent monthly topic, we discussed "Getting to the Root of Overwhelm." April's therapist, Mike Christensen, hosted a special call for our ARISE members, and a portion of this training was shared on a LearnDoBecome podcast.
If you are looking to gain new tools for managing anxiety, discouragement, anger, guilt, sadness, etc., this podcast will be a HUGE strength for you.
We're fellow "ARISERS." We don't have everything figured out, but we wake up each morning thinking about you--and how we can make your life feel more enjoyable and meaningful by sharing what we've learned along the way.
You know what someone values by looking at their calendar and their checkbook...and if you took a peek inside of ours, you’d see significant investments over the years in academic education, professional training, coaching, online courses, great books, podcasts, and videos. We are highly committed to lifelong learning and growth. Plus, we’ve tested thousands of ideas in our personal lives, family, and business, and we are more than happy to save you time and energy by opening our hearts and minds.
We got married in 1998, began raising a family together in 2000 (we have four children now), moved 10 times with schooling and new jobs, and built LearnDoBecome together in 2015--which has now grown to reach hundreds of thousands of people every single month, with the help of an amazing team that supports the community with so much love and respect.
While there have been lots of happy moments along the way, not one step of that felt “easy.” Over the course of our marriage, we went from living on part-time work/scholarships/student loans to managing an incredibly tight budget to becoming completely debt free--by consistently applying simple and replicable principles we can’t wait to share with you.
We’ve also dealt with health problems, the challenges that come with aging parents, and lots of “life” lessons as we’ve raised our children and tried to navigate our place in the world.
We’re believers in a Higher Power, and while we are actively involved in our church and love the way we worship, we believe that the way each person defines and engages in his or her Higher Power deserves respect and appreciation. Our goal here at LearnDoBecome is not to force our beliefs on others, but to build common ground.
