Congratulations to Nicole, J’Lynn and Jessica on their clean drawers! If you haven’t yet done our “Clean-A-Drawer” Challenge, check out these awesome stories and pictures!
“Organized drawer challenge completed! I loved this podcast because it gave me a very simple way to use the next action list. My kitchen junk drawer had become the catchall for everything…After clearing off the top layer, I found many treasures including an iPod case for an iPod that hasn’t been with us for 10 years…I found this locking drawer organizer at Walmart in the office supply section for $6.27. The other drawer organizers were actually in the drawer this whole time. I threw out tons of expired coupons and meaningless business cards. I still have too many pens and pencils, but now at homework time it won’t be such a challenge to find something to write with. It is the only drawer big enough to hold my BBQ spatula, so that had to stay. Yea to a productive STEP Sunday!” – Nicole
“I am a little late to the drawer cleaning party, but it still is a joy to look at!
This is my craft drawer. Not sure about the routine for maintenance yet- I will have to get my kids’ input.
I didn’t have an organizer, so I made one from the ends of cereal boxes and from the bottom of a small Amazon box!
Thanks for the fun challenge!” – Jessica

I cleaned out my desk drawer but I didn’t take a before picture. Feels so good to be able to find things easily.

with or without the before photo… it was a fun challenge wasn’t it?
May that single drawer create inspiration and catch on throughout some others!
