We’ve made it to Lesson #3 of our Step-by-Step Home Organizing Party! Below is a brief outline of this week’s podcast, and if you want to officially sign up for the party (to receive all the bonus worksheets associated with the nine lessons), please go to https://LearnDoBecome.com/party. Those who sign up will receive the worksheets and updated links by email.
And if you are a member of our Steps to Everyday Productivity Mastery program, we do a weekly deep-dive into these lessons each Thursday at 10am Pacific. Pop into the STEP Mastery Facebook group (if you’re a member!) to join in. Thanks!!
Now that we have explored establishing a daily routine and putting out fires for greater self-care, the next step is to determine the highest-value activities!
Highest-Value Activities Worksheet (you can get a printable version of this on our party page!)
(1) Write down your main goals right now. Maybe 3-5. What are the top things you’re working on right now? Perhaps a strong family, great health, financial security, a project to serve the world, a deeper relationship with your higher power?
(2) Explore what it would look like if each of were “wildly successful”?
(3) What are the low-value activities that are keeping you from achieving these goals? (Family bickering, screen-time, avoidance/busyness)
(4) Now imagine if you already had those things we discussed in questions 1 and 2… what would you be doing to achieve them?
“You’ve Got To Believe” Poster (We also made a poster for you! You can get either of the two options below on the party page for printing. The first one is for coloring in as you go, and the second one is for putting stickers on it as you go!)

*Dr. Wood’s Inspired Performance Program
Dr. Wood’s program has helped me in more ways than I can even tell you. It is an investment. I made this my Current Project for 3 months, because this was my highest priority. But as I worked through the program, I had both immediate and long-term results. As I trained my brain to stop feeling overwhelmed, my mind became calm. I don’t feel stress over anything from the past. (SO weird to say that!) And I’m learning how to disassociate that feeling of anxiety from my need to be productive. I’m able to focus on the most important tasks and just enjoy time with my family.
If you are ready to retrain your brain so that anxiety no longer holds you back, just click the link above to learn more!

Hey April,
I’ve never left a comment before but I have followed u since many power of Mom years ago and have used my command central since purchasing the course version u sold way back then. Could it have been 10 years ago? I am not sure but between that and my freedom filer I am a productivity guru😂. I started using Asana a few months ago and it just made things that much better! I loved ur party podcast today 4/16/20. Ur enthusiasm makes me smile, and I wish I had roller blades around to join ur introvert rollerblading FB group😂😂. I love pulling different recommendations out of the podcasts I listen to regularly and implementing what speaks to me. At least 2 things from today spoke to me but truly u have been on fire with the wisdom during these party podcasts and I am sure I will find more to implement when I listen for a 2nd and third time (I listen while I exercise!). So gem number one was to honor god with my food choices. I have nothing else to say about that – it is too perfect! The second was the You Have To Believe print outs. I am printing out the color in one tonight for one of my grand goals and cannot wait to start filling that baby in! Thank u so much for your heartfelt honesty and genuineness. I pray that you find peace and happiness knowing ur mom and dad are together again. Looking forward to partying with you next week!! Lisa G.

Thank you for sharing your takeaways–and way to go on printing the poster. It’s seriously so fun to fill it in and watch the progress unfold. You’ve got this. Sending so much love! Thanks for commenting!

Wow what an awesome Podcast April! I know we would be such great friends because it seems like we think so much alike. Especially when you were talking about spending time with your family and running a successful business. My family will always come first and my job second. I so enjoyed listening to your story of rollerblading with your son. What a sweet memory that will be for you and your son for years to come.
Please know you are making such a difference in so many people’s lives including mine. I truly wish I would have had you in my life when my kids were younger and maybe I could have done some things a little differently.
Learn Do Become is such a Blessing in my life and I just want to say Thankyou for spending time with us and helping us to become more organized in every area of our lives including mentally.
Thank you and God Bless

Hi, April, As always, I loved this podcast & how your heart shines through in what you share. I always come away with practical tips I can apply to my life & today was no exception. Right now, I’m in a transition period, so the focus on goals (& dropping the time-wasters) is extremely helpful.
Since you’ve given so much to me, I hope you won’t mind a little advice from a mother who’s successfully raised five children who are all high achievers and loving, giving, contributing adults who are now raising their own families. Why not encourage your son to look into all the details of what it would take to start the business he suggested? What legal, financial, licensing, marketing, etc. requirements need to be met? It would be a wonderful learning opportunity for him & if he has a passion for it, he might find some creative solutions to seemingly insurmountable obstacles. He sounds very special, & I suspect he has the seeds of a budding entrepreneur. Watering those seeds can bear rich fruit. There are teenagers who’ve become millionaires because they followed a passion starting at age 12 or 13. He’s watched you develop businesses, so he may be more savvy than you realize. He certainly seems to understand market research, which is a huge asset. I believe all big ideas should be encouraged and given room to grow. He might discover he doesn’t have all the components he needs to get the business off the ground, but even that is a valuable learning experience for the future. Many blessings to all of you!!

April,
I LOVE what you are doing so much! I do career coaching with women and I SO AGREE that you should not have to choose between family and business / career! I am doing the same here at the start of the journey (we have a 7 month old!).
Part of what got me into coaching was working at Amazon and Google and seeing so many really bright and capable people NOT enjoying their lives. I LOVE getting people into the place where they get to experience friends, family AND have that high impact in their career lives. I think you are similarly motivated from everything I have heard and read from you. It’s all so wonderful <3
I'm in your STEP program and loving it!
Hope to connect more further soon!
